National & European EuroCloud awards were created to recognise those organisations that encapsulate the heart of this vision and highlight best practice within the industry.
Last May 19th 2011, EuroCloud Luxembourg has given local ICT companies recognition for their outstanding performance in Cloud services: ebrc won then the "Best Case Study for Public Sector 2011" award for its Cloud project with the IBBL.
EuroCloud has concluded its first pan-European Cloud Computing awards in Paris on December 12th by delivering trophies in 4 categories: Best Startup, Best Solution, Best Use Case in the Public Sector and Best Use Case in the Private Sector.
The European Cloud Computing award in the Best Use Case in the Public Sector category went to ebrc. The TrustedCloudEurope approach of ebrc at IBBL proved very innovating as an open, easy and secure method of access for all the healthcare stakeholders, in a very regulated environment. ebrc proves its TrustedCloudEurope solution is secure for the most sensitive information. ebrc also managed all aspects of the project to speed up its completion and relieve complexity.
Already granted national and international recognition through more than 12 awards in Cloud computing, Data Centre management, Consulting and IT Managed Services, ebrc won the « Best Commitment for European Datacenter services 2011 » ICT Award at the 5th IT One Gala on December 1st 2011.
Whilst Luxembourg positions itself as the most secure digital fortress in Europe, this award is a tribute to ebrc’s commitment through its one-stop-shop offer and the optimised guarantees to its partners in terms of green IT, reliability, high availability and security backed up by national and international standards and certifications.
ebrc was honoured with the Luxembourgish Prize for Quality (Prix Luxembourgeois de la Qualité) in the SMB category (<200 employees) last November 25th.
This competition, based on independent audits, allows to set the highlights on companies that invested in a convincing and efficient quality system.
ebrc won this award of Excellence, presented by Mr. Jeannot Krecké, Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, and Mr. Jean-Marie Reiff, Chairman of the Luxembourgish Movement for Quality, as a testimony of ebrc commitment to high performance, its continuous improvement programme and its support to innovation.

The European Commission’s Code of Conduct (COC) on Data Centre’s Energy Efficiency is a voluntary code that organisations can endorse, committing them to implementing measures to reduce energy consumption.
The code is now established as the definitive industry practice for reducing carbon emissions by Data Centres and has been widely adopted by more than 122 endorsers.
The European Code of Conduct created special awards to recognise Data Centre operators who have demonstrated exceptional implementation of the code in their facilities.
Already awarded « Best Information Security and Data Management Company 2009», « Best Hosting & Managed Services Provider 2009», « Best Information Security and Data Management Company 2008», « Best Hosting Service Provider 2008» as well as « Best Information Security Services 2007», ebrc once more confirmed the recognition of its expertise in Business Resilience in Luxembourg.
