Professional of the Financial Sector

ebrc is certified as a Professional of the Financial Sector (PFS), with a Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) agreement for the following activities:

  • Operator of Primary IT Systems (OSIP)
  • Administrative Agent for the financial sector
  • Client Communication Agent

The PFS status places ebrc under the direct supervision of the CSSF in Luxembourg, as any bank, with the same responsibilities and aptitudes. ebrc applies strict procedures as follows:

  • Strict auditing
  • Best practices to safeguard confidentiality, security and availability of the data received from its clients



Tier IV classified Datacenters

ebrc Datacenters are classified up to Tier IV and offer top-level standards in terms of availability and security.

In particular, the "Resilience Centre Luxembourg West", built in 2006, is officially Tier IV design certified by the Uptime Institute since May 2010; thus offering Luxembourg its first Tier IV Certification and one of the five certified Datacenters in Europe.

As the highest level of Datacenter classification awarded by the Uptime Institute, this certification means a fail-safe design infrastructure that guarantees an availability rate of 99.995%.

Continuously committed to achieving excellence and deeply concerned about the protection and performance of your information, ebrc keeps investing in the rigorous certification process of the Uptime Intitute for its infrastructures.

As well, ebrc new Datacenter "the Resilience Centre Luxembourg South" inaugurated in June 2010 is planned to be audited by the Uptime Institute to attest the reliability and quality of this datacenter as for the Resilience Centre Luxembourg West.



Security and availability certification

ebrc datacenters have been yearly Systrust certified (AICPA/American Institute of Charted Public Accountants) since 2007, which guarantees the quality of our availability and security principles.



A team of certified experts

The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) defines a set of concepts and policies for managing IT services, developments and operations, and represents the best practices in service management.

The operations in ebrc datacenters are handled according to the ITIL v3 framework.

The improved operational framework, implemented at ebrc, enables us to provide high-end Service Level Agreements to our clients. 80% our technical members are ITIL certified.

PRINCE2 is a structured approach to project management. It provides a method for managing projects within a clearly defined framework, based on organisation, management and quality control of the project.

Our Business Continuity consultants have received international certifications on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery matters: DRI and BS25999.



ebrc's initiative for a sustainable future

Aware of energy efficiency, we signed up as Endorser to the European Code of Conduct for Datacenters and are members of the Green Grid. As member of The Green Grid we have taken up the challenge of developing standards to measure the efficiency of both the facility and the IT equipment of our datacenters.
