Energy consumption represents the first cost center of a colocation centre. In 2007, energy budget was estimated between 30 to 40 % of the total IT expenses. Tomorrow it may be increased by over 50% partly because of the growing data flows, system needs and server consumption.

In a world demanding more and more power for any activity, we aim at implementing solutions as green as possible, to save money as well as preserve the environment.

With its high experience, ebrc has designed its datacenters so as to use space and energy efficiently: cooling systems sparing as much energy as possible, power consumption measurement to avoid energy losses and regular audits of every system.

Furthermore, ebrc promotes virtualisation as a mean to reduce the environmental impact of IT systems.

ebrc adheres to environmental standards, especially Green Grid Datacenter Power Efficiency and fully complies with the requirements of environmental administrations. We also joined the European Code of Conduct on Datacenters as endorser.

Members of the Green Grid, we operate our datacenters with “Green” energy. We also signed up as Endorser to the European Code of Conduct for Datacenters .
