Safety and security are of the utmost importance to ebrc as our clients heavily rely on the IT equipment hosted in our datacenters.

Firstly ebrc datacenters have been designed to protect and connect our clients’ assets in compliance with their corporate governance, their mission-critical hosting requirements as well as national and international requirements. ebrc’s safety and security are managed by a team of internal security officers and staff which follow strict procedures. On a regular basis, the procedures and the key security indicators are internally controlled and audited in order to have a continuous safety & security improvement programme. On top of that, once per year the security procedures are also externally audited according to the Systrust control objectives.

Each ebrc datacenter is equipped with different security elements including:

  • Underground IT rooms
  • Foot-thick concrete between private IT rooms instead of unsecured caging
  • A security access and control system enabling us to track all visits and prohibit any unauthorised ones. A comprehensive program, based on nominative badge access and related processes, has been implemented to control and report about the access to the whole building and in particular to our clients’ IT area.
  • 24/7/365 on-site security team
  • Video surveillance cameras placed throughout each datacenter ensuring permanent security.
  • Smoke and heat detection sensors as well as fire-proof doors and automatic gas extinguishing systems.
