ebrc awarded “Best Regional European Data Centre Facility 2010” in Nice, France

We have the pleasure to announce that ebrc won the awards of “Best Regional European Data Centre 2010” at the international “Data Centre Europe” event organised by Broadgroup in Nice on June 24 and 25, 2010.

Already awarded “Best Managed Services Provider 2009”, “Best Risk Mitigation Service Provider 2009” and “Best Data Centre Operator Europe” in 2008, ebrc has confirmed the recognition of its expertise in Business Resilience in Europe.

The award of “Best Regional European Data Centre 2010” particularly rewards its expertise in Business Continuity and the excellence of its infrastructures.

Among ebrc state-of-the art interconnected Datacenters, the "Resilience Centre Luxembourg West" in Windhof has been certified Tier IV by the Uptime Institute, one of the first datacenters certified in Europe. This world-class facility, built in 2006, offers the highest level of IT services within a radius of 350 kilometres.

Another new Datacenter was inaugurated on June 28, the « Resilience Centre Luxembourg South », standing out as well as one of the most innovative in terms of technology and security in Europe. It will offer a Tier IV classified availability level, which is the highest standard in Business Continuity. The overall investment amounts to more than 100 millions Euros.

Last but not least, pioneer of the environment preservation in Luxembourg, ebrc runs its latest Datacenters using energy from 100% renewable sources. ebrc Datacenters are equipped with hybrid cooling towers to use free cooling during the coldest months, whereas the "Resilience Centre Luxembourg South" in Kayl will be powered by 400 square metres of solar panels. ebrc Datacenters are operated with “Green” energy.

Moreover, ebrc endorses the European Code of Conduct for Datacenters and is also member of the Green Grid.

ebrc offers its clients resilience and agility solutions to face the growing uncertainties and particularly the increase of operational or market risks.
